History of Adaptogens
Dr. Israel Brekhman, A Russian from the southern provinces, attended medical
school in St. Petersburg during World War II. There he met Dr. Nicolai Lazarev,
MD, and began fifty years of research in toxicology and preventative medicine.
Dr. Brekhman believed that Adaptogens would have some benefit with occasional
use; however, used everyday Adaptogens would have the greatest benefit to man’s
well-being.
